I just released TemplaVoila template based on Andreas01 to TER. This template contains pre-build TypoScript objects for TemplaVoila and T3D file with pre-mapped DS/TO. This extension allows to built nice-looking web site withing minutes. Of course, it comes with a manual that has step-by-step procedure.

Yesterday I released new version of mininews to TER. Main difference with existing version is that it comes with full manual, better configuration (based on flexforms) and pre-mapped TemplaVoila template.

I plan also to add realurl configuration to extension soon.

I was pretty silent last week. There were a couple of reasons for this. Firsts, I was ill. Second, I did non-TYPO3 project that I hope to release soon. Third, I am heavily modifying mininews extension to make it more configurable and better understandable. I also write manual for it and spent lots of time trying to position images properly in OpenOffice (which failed completely). I have several TemplaVoila and RealURL changes in my mind, so a lot of work. And I need to make two important...

TYPO3 5.0 discussion has started in the mailing lists. I could not find any references to architectural documents but there are discussions about specific details already. It does not look right to me. If you have bricks, it does not mean you can build a nice house. You first should have idea what you want to build, you should have sketches, plans, etc. It is not time to care about wallpaper color if you have no idea what exactly you want to build on a general level.
