I finally decided to order Getting Things Done, Don't Make Me Think!, and Designing Interactions. I wanted these three books for a long time but delivery from any Amazon to Latvia costs a lot of money (from 10€ per item), so when a book costs 7€ you will think twice before paying more for delivery. But sooner or later I would buy these books anyway, so I spent the rest of my Moneybookers donations to them. Now can't wait to receive them and start reading. I wanted them for soooooooo long!

    Hi Dmitry,

wise decision! These books are great. At least GTD and DMMT. I don't know the other one. ;-)

It might be a good idea to let someone else (in Germany for example) order the items and ship them in one package as private person to you next time. I guess that would be much cheaper if you really pay 10€ per item now.

    Thomas

    Hi Dmitry,

Thomas is absolutely right. GTD is a must have. :) Be sure to also grab supporting softeware. In case you got a Mac I'd recommend "Things" (if you don't use it already).

    Cheers from Germany,

Thomas, I do not have anyone close in Germany :( May be someone from TYPO3 community can do it. Thanks for the idea!

Jochen, I use OmniFocus already. I liked Things but OmniFocus is more flexible.

    Hi Dmitry,

you know me for example. ;-) I don't think that's a problem for anyone you know personally from one of the events.

But seriously, if you want to order something next time, contact me. I order it for free (I think I never really payed any shipping costs at Amazon) and send it to you with UPS. ;-)

    Greets,
    Thomas

    Hi Dmitry,

while reading GTD, I tried to find a software tool to apply the ideas in the book. Chandler seems to integrate the concepts of GTD. So maybe this is interesting for you, too.
