TYPO3 developer days start on 26th of April. One day before TYPO3 core team discusses various core-related issues.

Last year I could not get to core team meeting due to a error in my Swiss visa. This year visa was perfecly fine, so I took AirBaltic flight from Riga to Copenhagen airport to transfer to SAS flight to Zurich. All went fine until I came to Copenhagen. It was 8:00.

There I found that all SAS flights are cancelled due to strike. Mine too.

Unlike others I cannot go outside transit area (to eat, sleep in the hotel if necessary, etc). Imagine if you have to stay in the transit area for unknown time (until strike ends) because I have Russian passport and noSchengen visa. Sure I had to call SAS saying that they have to do something.

After an hour they took me from the gate to transit area, where I could buy coffee. I asked them for compensation because flight delay was long.

After some more time they brought me voucher for food but said that I cannot use it because I am not allowed to go out. After some time they agreed to buy food for me.

After several more hours they informed that probably I will fly with Swiss airlines at 20:00 (so 12 hours of waiting).

At 20:00 we came to the gate but found that bridge to the plane just broked, so we had to go to another gate. Than someone did not turn up to the flight and we had to wait until his baggage is unloaded due to "security reasons".

Finally we were in Zurich. After five minutes of border check (copying my passport, checking something) I was allowed in. But there were no my baggage! I stepped to "Lost&found" office, they searched and said that I should go to storage room: my baggage arrived earlier (what about "security reasons" in this case?).

Finally we were in the hotel but we found that it was fully booked, so we had to share rooms. I do not mind it but normally I prefer single room.

Anyway, I missed core team meeting but I was able to fly the same day. Karsten still stays in Copenhagen...

Weather is good here. Sunny, warm, clean.

T3DD starts. Good luck to all us here!
