One functionality that I really enjoyed in Zend Studio 5.5 but which is missng in Zend Studio Neon, is automatic trimming white spaces in the file when saving it.
After a couple of minutes of searching I found a nice plugin made by Andrei Loskutov named AnyEdit. Some options that I found very useful are:
- automatically strip remaining spaces on save
- automatically convert tabs to spaces and vice versa on save
- display all kinds of spaces in the edit window (optional of course)
This is not all, there are more nice tools in that plugin. I really think that Zend Neon users (and Eclipse users in general) will find it useful.
By the way, Zend Studio Neon is available free of charge for anyone nowbecause it is beta. But it mostly works.
